Salmon Run on the Humber River

  • Etienne Brulé Park 10 Catherine St Toronto, ON, M6S Canada (map)

Catch the annual Salmon Run on the Humber River with RCIScience.

Conditions permitting, witness Pacific salmons like the Rainbow Trout and Chinook Salmon attempt to jump over the Old Mill Dam on Toronto’s Humber River! Join freshwater fish researcher Dr. Mandrak for a discussion on the life cycle of salmon, the extinction of native Atlantic Salmon in Lake Ontario and efforts to restore them, and why non-native Pacific salmons were introduced.

Please note this is an in-person, outdoor event.
