Field Trips: Turtles at Twilight

  • Evergreen Brick Works 550 Bayview Avenue Toronto, ON, M4W 3X8 Canada (map)

Join turtle researcher Reta Meng for a leisurely sunset stroll through Evergreen Brick Works, and discover the remarkable wildlife awakening after dark.

As turtles begin their nesting season, you'll get an up-close look at these fascinating shelled neighbours, learn about their behaviour and ecology, and tune in to the sounds of the night, from calling frogs to elusive nocturnal birds.

Note space is limited, so grab your tickets now.

Bring your own binoculars and/or headlamps/flashlights or order them as an “Add-On” with your ticket before May 16, 2026. Note: while they aren’t essential, they do add to the experience.
