Time zones have been used for more than 130 years. But they've changed a lot since their inception.

In fact, they're still changing, as countries can choose what time they want to abide by and change it whenever they please. Over the years, that has led to a patchwork that confuses even experts. The World's Bianca Hillier reports, featuring conversation with Jock Fleming, RCIScience Board Trustee and great great grandson of the creator of time zones and RCIScience’s founder, Sir Sandford Fleming.
